Hello everyone, I hope that you are having a wonderful week. Today’s look was inspired by a blue chambray shirt in my closet. I remembered that I own a pair of Sam Edelman espadrilles in the exact same shade of blue that would match perfectly! Although I rarely get the chance to wear these shoes; I love how Sam Edelman gave these espadrilles a super sexy peep-toe style.
I always loved the look of espadrilles, even as a child. I remembered how my mother would walk around in her polka dot fabric espadrille wedges; with her matching polka-dot halter, and denim shorts. I couldn’t wait until I grew up to own a pair.
Espadrilles are usually found in the casual flat style, but they are also made as high heels. The jute rope sole is the defining characteristic of the espadrille, and today you have a wide variety of styles to choose from.
