Hello everyone! I am back and ready to share some fabulous fashions and styles for now and later. I enjoyed my time off, celebrating my birthday and relaxing with family and friends. Today, I am wearing a beautiful blue, pleated maxi dress from Express. 
When I first saw this dress, it reminded me of the Gucci dress Lupita Nyong’o wore at the La Tete Haute premiere. It’s not as embellished as the Gucci version but can easily be glam up with statement accessories! The necklace I am wearing is from Shoedazzle! It looks expensive, but I got it for a great price and plan on getting a lot of wear out of this beautiful, bold necklace!

The only problem I found with this maxi is finding the right bra to wear with it. In some shots I have on a bra and in others, I went without. The fabric is thin so you need undergarments that have a “barely there” appearance, like a pair of Jockey’s skimmies and a bralette with very thin straps. This dress is perfect for any special event! I plan to belt this dress and wear with a pair of flat sandals. I will share this look with you on a later post.
