Blogger Style: Boyfriend Jeans

I thought I would never say this, but boyfriend jeans are a closet staple. At first, I felt this trend was only for the younger ladies and was here in the world of fashion for just a moment. It looks like its here to stay and there are many reasons why: 1). You can easily dress these jeans up or down. 2). They are perfect for dress-down Fridays in the office (without rips) and 3). The style is so sexy, with an edgy touch. Whether you wear them with sneakers, sandals or a pair of pumps, you can’t go wrong. In the photos below, I am wearing my boyfriend jeans by the Eva Mendes Collection at NY&C.

I am so in love with them and I also adore the little rips they have in them. At first, I was a little skeptical about buying them because of the rips. I felt it wasn’t age-appropriate. But after doing a little research on Pinterest, I felt I could pull the look off! I wore them to Happy Hour (lol) at Dugan’s here in Atlanta. I wanted to dress-up my look, so I wore with a white jacket and a basic white tee. To complete my look, I wore my favorite fringed sandals by Steve Madden ‘Fringly’. I was on trend with this look with a lot of chicness and class! So, in my opinion, no matter what your age is, get you a pair of boyfriend jeans. Wear them with your sneakers, booties, flats or whatever you like!
