If you are like me, every year you purchase some type of sequin or metallic clothing item. I tend to make these purchases around the holiday season since every store has their version of sequin and metallic skirts, tops and pants. Now, I have a closet full of sequin pieces that I will admit I never wear, but this year I am no longer letting these items just sit in my closet. You no longer have to play it safe and follow old style rules when it comes to your wardrobe. You are free to be creative and express yourself with fashion. So with that said, I am going to show you how you can pull off your sequin or metallic purchases during the day. With the holiday parties that will be going on at the office, this is the perfect time to pull them out. Here are a few tips to help you pull off a fabulous day glitter look. When wearing to work, team a sequin skirt with a blouse and jacket. You could even wear a tee under your jacket. Also sequin skirts or pants look great with a chambray or denim top! Wear simple pumps and keep your accessories sleek and elegant. To dress down a pair of sequin pants, you could wear with a sweater and complete the look with a pair of flats or cute booties.
